Rev. Doneila McIntosh (known as “Pastor Dee”) is the lead pastor of LightHouse Covenant Church, Dee was formally the Associate Pastor of Local Missions at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina MN.
Dee is a founding member of Black Clergy United for Change (BCUC) a collective of black clergy committed to the work of racial justice and social transformation in urban communities and abroad. Dee also formally served on the advisory council for the Center of Reconciliation at Duke University.
A Miami native, Dee moved to Minneapolis to play volleyball for the University of Minnesota, where she graduated with a bachelor’s in Philosophy and a minor in Biblical Hebrew. In 2013, she graduated from Bethel Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity degree in Contextual Theology and Greek and in 2016, she earned a M.A. in Public and Missional Theology from United Theological Seminary.
Doneila is married to Cecil McIntosh and they have two very active boys Levi, 7 and Jesaia, 5.
